For Sale: 2025 Fender Japan MIJ Traditional ’60s Jaguar – White Pearl | Matching Headstock | Gold Hardware | HSC
Up for sale is a 2025 Fender Made in Japan Traditional ’60s Jaguar in the absolutely stunning White Pearl finish with matching headstock and gold hardware, complete with a non-original hard-shell case.
Part of Fender Japan’s special 2025 Collection, this Jaguar takes the classic ’60s offset design and gives it an incredibly distinctive appearance. The combination of White Pearl, matching painted headstock, rosewood fingerboard, and gold hardware gives this guitar an upscale look that immediately separates it from a standard production Jaguar.
The White Pearl finish is especially impressive in person and extremely difficult to fully capture in photographs. Rather than appearing as a simple solid white, the finish contains a subtle pearlescent sparkle that comes alive as the guitar catches the light. It can appear clean and understated from one angle and reveal its shimmering pearl effect from another.
Combined with traditional Jaguar electronics, a short 24" scale, 9.5" rosewood fingerboard, and vintage-style single-coil pickups, this is a fantastic combination of classic Fender offset character and unique Japanese-market styling.

White Pearl & Matching Headstock
The finish is unquestionably one of the biggest highlights of this special 2025 Collection Jaguar.
White Pearl is much more interesting in person than a traditional solid white finish. Embedded within the finish is a subtle pearlescent sparkle that reflects the light and gives the guitar considerably more depth than photographs can easily convey.
Under normal lighting, it has an elegant white appearance. As the viewing angle and lighting change, the fine pearl effect becomes visible and gives the finish a beautiful shimmering quality.
Fender carried the same White Pearl finish onto the matching headstock, creating a cohesive custom-color appearance from one end of the guitar to the other.
The gold hardware completes the look. Against the White Pearl body and headstock, it gives the guitar an upscale aesthetic that feels more like a special-order instrument than a standard Traditional Series model.
It really is a stunning guitar in person.
Traditional Jaguar Electronics
Despite its unique appearance, this guitar retains the distinctive electronics that make a Jaguar a Jaguar.
The pair of vintage-style Jaguar single-coil pickups delivers the bright, articulate, slightly percussive voice associated with the model.
The traditional lead and rhythm circuits provide a wide range of sounds beyond what you would find on a conventional two-pickup guitar.
The lead circuit offers the familiar clear and cutting Jaguar sound, while the separate rhythm circuit provides a warmer, darker voice using the neck pickup.
Combined with the Jaguar’s switching system, there is an impressive amount of tonal variety available from this classic offset design.
Tone & Feel
The 24" short scale is a major part of the Jaguar experience.
Compared with Fender’s traditional 25.5" scale length, the shorter scale creates a softer, more responsive feel under the fingers and makes the guitar extremely comfortable to play.
This particular Jaguar combines that classic short scale with a more player-friendly 9.5" fingerboard radius, providing easier bending and a slightly more modern feel than the vintage 7.25" radius found on many traditional Jaguar reissues.
The U-shaped maple neck measures .84" at the 1st fret and .91" at the 12th fret, giving it a comfortable feel that gradually fills out as you move up the neck.
Tonally, the vintage-style single-coils provide plenty of attack, sparkle, and note definition. Clean tones have the unmistakable Jaguar chime, while overdrive brings out the raw, aggressive character that has made these guitars favorites across surf, indie, alternative, shoegaze, punk, garage rock, and countless other styles.
At 8 lbs 8 oz, the guitar has a substantial, solid feel and balances nicely.
Special 2025 Collection
This Jaguar is part of Fender Japan’s 2025 Collection, giving it several visual appointments that you simply won’t find on the typical Traditional ’60s Jaguar.
The combination of:
- White Pearl finish
- Matching White Pearl headstock
- Gold hardware
- Rosewood fingerboard
- Traditional Jaguar electronics
- 9.5" fingerboard radius
creates a fantastic blend of vintage Fender styling and distinctly Japanese special-edition aesthetics.
For someone looking for a Jaguar that stands apart from the usual Sunburst, Black, or Olympic White examples, this one certainly does.
Upgraded Hard-Shell Case
This guitar includes a non-original hard-shell case, a significant upgrade over the gig bag these Fender Japan Jaguars were typically supplied with.
Beyond providing much better protection for storage and travel, the hard-shell case is especially valuable when the guitar is being shipped. A rigid case offers substantially more protection against impacts and handling than a gig bag and allows us to pack the instrument much more securely for transit.
The guitar will be professionally packed inside the hard-shell case, providing an additional layer of protection and helping ensure it arrives safely at its destination.
Transparency & Photos
As with all Guitar Chimp listings, detailed photos are provided of the exact instrument—no stock photos.
At the end of the photo set, you’ll find close-up images taken under direct lighting to clearly show the light scratches, small dings, and any other cosmetic wear.
Keep in mind that the White Pearl effect is difficult to accurately reproduce in photographs. The subtle sparkle and depth of the finish become much more apparent when viewing the guitar in person and moving it under different lighting.
We don’t just describe the condition—we show it in detail so there are no surprises.
Many of our customers tell us their guitars arrive in better condition than expected.
