Hello! Nice to meet you, I’m happy you’re here. My name is Jerald and I’m the Guitar Chimp. My wife Carley and I started Guitar Chimp in 2006 And it has been a wild ride. I started playing the bass guitar when I was 13 years old and have been hooked since. I started purchasing my own gear on eBay in 1997. The gear that I buy and sell are the instruments I enjoy playing. My inventory is a collection of gear that I think is unique, cool and that I think you’ll enjoy as well. We’re a simple hands-on small business. I personally purchase every instrument we have. I play each instrument, carefully take them apart to verify authenticity, make videos going over the condition in great detail, and set them up myself. Carley takes photos of all our guitars and together we both take the upmost care in shipping your instruments. I’ve always preferred a more hands on approach.
