Up for sale is a 2025 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut in Heritage Cherry, complete with its original Gibson hard-shell case.

This stripped-down Gibson combines a lightweight mahogany body, mahogany SlimTaper neck, bound rosewood fingerboard, dual soapbar P-90 pickups, and wraparound bridge with the excellent upper-fret access of the Double Cut design.

At only 7 lbs 6 oz, it's lightweight, resonant, and extremely comfortable to play.

The guitar is all original except for upgraded Kluson locking tuners. The original tuners are not included.

The guitar shows cosmetic wear, including:

• Scratches
• Dings
• Some finish checking in the clear coat around the binding areas
• Some clear-coat chipping on the front of the headstock around a couple of the tuning keys

The finish checking and chipping are cosmetic only. Please review the detailed close-up photos carefully for the best representation of condition.

There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues.

The neck is straight and stable, the frets are in excellent playing condition, and the guitar plays cleanly across the entire fingerboard with no buzzing or dead spots.

P-90 Tone & Double Cut Feel

The dual Gibson P-90s are the heart of this guitar, delivering the clarity and dynamics of a single coil with the extra midrange punch and growl that make P-90-equipped Gibsons so distinctive.

The neck pickup is warm and full while retaining definition, while the bridge pickup has plenty of bite and aggression for overdriven tones. It's a great setup for rock, blues, punk, indie, garage, roots, and alternative styles.

The 7 lb 6 oz weight and Double Cut body make this noticeably more agile than a traditional Les Paul, with excellent access to the highest frets.

Our measured SlimTaper neck dimensions are .85" at the 1st fret and .96" at the 12th, with a 1.72" nut width, giving it a comfortable feel that gradually fills out as you move up the neck.

The simple wraparound bridge completes the classic Les Paul Special formula, providing a direct, lively feel with no unnecessary hardware.

Kluson Locking Tuners

The factory tuners have been replaced with Kluson locking tuners, providing convenient string changes and excellent tuning stability while maintaining a traditional appearance.

The original tuners are not included.

Aside from the tuners, the guitar is all original.
