This is a very cool and uncommon Gibson signature model created for legendary Japanese musician Tamio Okuda and inspired by his vintage Gibson CF-100E. The CF-100E is one of the most distinctive acoustic-electric designs in Gibson history, combining a compact round-shoulder flat-top body with a sharp Florentine cutaway and a neck-position P-90 pickup.

With its solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard, short 24.75" scale, ultra-thin Faded Cherry nitrocellulose finish, and factory P-90 electronics, this is a unique Gibson that bridges the gap between a traditional flat-top acoustic and a vintage electric.

A Modern Recreation of a Gibson Rarity
