Up for sale is a 2025 Gibson Custom Shop Made-to-Measure (M2M) Les Paul Custom Figured in the absolutely stunning Iguana Burst finish, complete with its original Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case and Certificate of Authenticity.

This is an exceptional M2M Les Paul Custom featuring a highly figured AAA flame maple top beneath one of Gibson’s most striking finishes. Iguana Burst transitions from deep green around the perimeter into vibrant yellow and amber tones through the center, allowing the flame figuring to really come alive under different lighting. Combined with the ebony fingerboard, traditional Custom appointments, and gold hardware, it has an unmistakable one-off Custom Shop presence.

One particularly desirable specification is the long neck tenon construction, an unusual feature for a non-Historic Les Paul Custom. Combined with the premium woods, ebony fingerboard, and Made-to-Measure specifications, this is a seriously impressive modern Les Paul Custom built well beyond standard production specs.

The AAA figured maple top is an immediate standout. The flame figuring has excellent depth and movement, and the Iguana Burst finish emphasizes the grain beautifully while giving the guitar a look you simply don't see every day.

Another major feature is the long neck tenon. More commonly associated with Gibson’s Historic reissues, this construction method extends the neck farther into the body joint and is a particularly cool specification to find on a modern non-Historic Les Paul Custom.

The guitar retains the proven Gibson 490R and 498T humbucker combination. The 490R neck pickup provides warmth, smoothness, and excellent articulation, while the hotter 498T bridge delivers powerful output, strong mids, and plenty of bite.

Together, they give the guitar enough versatility to cover everything from warm cleans and blues to classic rock, hard rock, and high-gain tones.

Tone & Feel

This guitar has the thick, sustaining, authoritative voice you want from a great Custom Shop Les Paul.

The solid mahogany body provides a powerful foundation with strong lows and mids, while the figured maple top adds definition and attack. The ebony fingerboard contributes additional clarity and immediacy, giving individual notes excellent separation even under heavier gain.

The Medium C neck profile has enough substance to feel substantial in the hand without becoming excessively large. Measuring .85" at the 1st fret and .98" at the 12th, it gradually fills out as you move up the neck.

At 9 lbs 12 oz, this guitar has the substantial, solid feel many Les Paul Custom players prefer, with excellent resonance and sustain throughout the instrument.

And visually, the Iguana Burst finish is simply killer. The combination of the highly figured flame maple top, dramatic green burst, ebony fingerboard, multi-ply Custom binding, and chrome hardware makes this guitar look every bit as special as its M2M specifications suggest.
