Electronics & Features

The Traditional '60s Jazzmaster retains everything players love about the original design.

Its vintage-style single-coil pickups deliver the wide, open voice that has made the Jazzmaster a favorite across surf, indie, alternative, shoegaze, jazz, and rock. Chords remain full and articulate while single notes have remarkable clarity and harmonic complexity.

The traditional dual-circuit electronics provide tremendous tonal versatility. The lead circuit offers the familiar bright Jazzmaster voice, while the rhythm circuit produces a warmer, smoother sound that is perfect for mellow passages and clean rhythm work.

Unlike vintage originals, this model features a comfortable 9.5" radius fingerboard, making bends easier while preserving the classic feel and appearance of a traditional Jazzmaster.

Tone & Feel

This guitar has everything players expect from a great Jazzmaster.

The pickups produce shimmering cleans, rich harmonic overtones, and excellent note separation, while the floating tremolo provides smooth, expressive vibrato that has become synonymous with the model.

The U-shaped maple neck feels substantial without being oversized, and the flatter 9.5" radius makes the guitar especially comfortable for modern players.

At only 7 lbs 6 oz, it is lightweight, resonant, and exceptionally comfortable whether sitting or standing.

As with all Guitar Chimp listings, detailed photos are provided of the actual instrument. At the end of the photo set, you'll find close-up images taken under direct lighting to highlight any cosmetic wear.
