Up for sale is a 2013 Gibson Custom Shop Historic ’56 Les Paul Reissue (R6) Goldtop, complete with its original Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case and Certificate of Authenticity.

The R6 has long been one of the most desirable Historic Les Paul models, recreating the legendary 1956 Goldtop configuration with dual P-90 pickups, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, carved maple top, solid mahogany body, and a substantial ’50s neck profile.

What makes the 2013 Historic Collection especially appealing is Gibson Custom’s move toward more historically accurate construction details, including a hot hide glue neck joint, long neck tenon, vintage-style truss rod construction without tubing, and a one-piece rosewood fingerboard.
