Up for sale is a 2013 Fender Japan MIJ Limited Edition TLR62B-NLS ’62 Telecaster Custom in 3-Tone Sunburst, complete with a non-original tweed hard-shell case.

The TLR62B-NLS is a limited Fender Japan model that combines classic early-’60s Telecaster Custom styling with several player-friendly upgrades. It features a double-bound alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius, 22 frets, and factory Fender Vintage Noiseless Telecaster pickups.

Finished in classic 3-Tone Sunburst with contrasting body binding, this is an exceptionally clean, 100% original example weighing just 7 lbs 4 oz.

Limited Edition TLR62B-NLS

The TLR62B-NLS takes the elegant appearance of a ’62 Telecaster Custom and combines it with several modernized specifications.

The 9.5" fingerboard radius and 22-fret design provide a more contemporary playing feel than the traditional 7.25" radius and 21-fret layout found on many vintage-style ’62 Telecaster reissues.

Its Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups deliver the familiar clarity, attack, and definition of a Telecaster while substantially reducing traditional single-coil hum.

Combined with the double-bound body and thin finish, these features make the TLR62B-NLS an interesting alternative to a standard TL62B.

Neck & Playability

The maple neck measures .83" at the 1st fret and .91" at the 12th, with a measured 1.63" nut width.

The 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard and 22-fret layout provide a comfortable playing surface for both rhythm and lead work.

At just 7 lbs 4 oz, this is also a nicely weighted Telecaster that feels comfortable and balanced in the playing position.

Tweed Hard-Shell Case

A non-original tweed hard-shell case is included.
