Up for sale is a 2006 Gibson Les Paul Goddess in the striking Sky Burst finish, complete with its original Gibson hard-shell case.

Produced as part of Gibson’s short-lived Goddess Series, the Les Paul Goddess offers a distinctly different take on the traditional Les Paul formula. It features a thinner, lightweight mahogany body, slim ’60s-style neck, bound ebony fingerboard, narrow nut width, and streamlined electronics.

The translucent blue Sky Burst finish, matching blue Gibson headstock logo, and unusual transparent-bobbin humbuckers give this model an unmistakable appearance.

At just 7 lbs, it is exceptionally lightweight for a Gibson Les Paul.

A bound ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays gives the Goddess a premium appointment not commonly associated with lightweight Les Paul models.

The slim ’60s-style mahogany neck is especially slender on this example, measuring just .77" at the 1st fret, complementing the guitar’s narrow 1.63" nut and lightweight construction.

Gibson 490R & 498T Humbuckers

The Goddess pairs Gibson’s 490R neck and 498T bridge humbuckers, providing a versatile combination with plenty of output available from the bridge position.
