TL62B-75TX & USA Texas Specials

The TX designation is an important part of this model, with USA Fender Texas Special Telecaster pickups installed from the factory rather than the standard pickups found in many Fender Japan reissues.

Texas Specials provide a stronger, more assertive response with increased output and midrange while retaining the clarity, bite, and articulation expected from a traditional Telecaster.

The bridge position delivers plenty of punch and Tele twang, while the neck pickup provides a warmer, rounder voice with excellent definition. The middle position combines the two for a balanced sound that works particularly well for clean and lightly driven tones.

’62 Telecaster Custom Styling

The double-bound alder body captures the elegant appearance of Fender’s early-’60s Telecaster Custom design, with the binding providing a sharp contrast against the Candy Apple Red finish.

A maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 21 vintage-style frets, and vintage-style 3-saddle bridge complete the period-inspired aesthetic and playing feel.

Neck & Playability

The C-shaped maple neck has a comfortable vintage-inspired profile, offering a familiar feel without being overly bulky.

Combined with the rosewood fingerboard and vintage-style frets, it delivers the traditional Fender character that makes these Japanese ’62 reissues especially appealing to players who prefer classic Telecaster ergonomics.
