Up for sale is a 1997 Fender Japan Crafted in Japan MG69-65 ’69 Reissue Mustang in Sonic Blue, complete with a non-original tweed hard-shell case.

The MG69-65 recreates the distinctive late-’60s Mustang formula with a basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style Mustang single-coils, traditional slider switching, floating bridge, and Dynamic Vibrato system. Its Sonic Blue finish and vintage appointments give it the unmistakable look and character of a classic Fender offset.

Condition

Excellent – 9/10

This guitar is exceptionally clean for its age, showing only light surface scratches, a few small dings, and a very small amount of cosmetic finish checking at the neck joint.

There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues.

The neck is straight and stable, and the frets remain in excellent condition. It has been professionally inspected and set up by our in-house luthier and plays cleanly up and down the neck with comfortable action, accurate intonation, and no buzzing or dead spots.
