Up for sale is a 1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Vintage Sunburst, complete with its original Gibson chainsaw hard-shell case.

This is a killer late-’80s Les Paul Custom with tons of vintage character and the kind of natural wear players actively seek out. With its ebony fingerboard, gold hardware, maple top over mahogany body, and slim late-’80s neck profile, it delivers the classic Les Paul Custom feel and tone that made these guitars so iconic.

One of the standout features here is the original set of Gibson Bill Lawrence humbuckers. These pickups are especially sought after for their articulate response, tight low end, and aggressive yet clear voice, making them highly desirable among collectors and players alike.

This guitar shows honest vintage wear throughout, including:

• Scratches and dings throughout from normal use

With the exception of a replaced pick-guard and a few replaced screws, the guitar remains original, including the original Bill Lawrence pickups and hardware.

There are no cracks, breaks, or structural issues. The neck is straight, the frets are in good shape, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been professionally set up and is ready to go.

The original Gibson chainsaw case is included. The case shows wear from age and use and has a broken combo latch, but it still works great and protects the guitar properly.
