This is a killer early EVH signature model from the Ernie Ball Music Man era—widely considered one of the best-built and most desirable versions of Eddie Van Halen’s signature guitars. With its compact body, birdseye maple neck, and powerful DiMarzio humbucker, it delivers the feel and tone that defined EVH’s playing during this period.
Condition
This guitar is in very good condition (8.5/10).
It shows light scratches, small dings, and minor finish checking at the neck joint—typical for its age. Overall, it presents very well and has clearly been well cared for.
The guitar is 100% original with no cracks, breaks, or structural issues.
The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition with no visible wear, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.
