Classic Neck-Through Firebird Construction

The Firebird stands apart from Gibson’s traditional set-neck designs with its multi-ply mahogany/walnut neck running through the center of the instrument between mahogany body wings.

Combined with the reverse body shape and slim neck profile, the result is the unmistakable look and feel that has defined the Firebird for decades.

Firebird Mini Humbuckers

Dual Gibson Firebird mini humbuckers give this guitar the focused, articulate voice associated with the model.

They offer plenty of clarity and bite while retaining the fullness of a humbucker, giving the Firebird a distinctive character that sits somewhere apart from the traditional Les Paul and SG sound.

Vintage Sunburst

Vintage Sunburst is an especially fitting finish for the Firebird, highlighting the unusual lines of the reverse body while giving the guitar a classic Gibson appearance.

The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer complements the traditional styling and will continue to develop character naturally with age and use.
