Up for sale is a 2019 Rickenbacker 4003W Bass in the highly desirable Walnut finish, complete with its original Rickenbacker hard-shell case.

This is a very clean and great-playing example of one of Rickenbacker’s most attractive modern basses. The 4003W stands apart from standard 4003 models thanks to its all-walnut body wings and oil-finished walnut appearance, giving it a warmer, more organic aesthetic while still delivering the unmistakable Rickenbacker tone and feel players love.

With its maple neck-through construction, maple fingerboard, original Rickenbacker pickups, and push/pull vintage tone circuit, this bass blends classic Ric character with modern versatility.

This bass is 100% original and in perfect working order. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition with no visible wear, and it has recently been professionally set up. It plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots.

The original hard-shell case is also in excellent working condition and provides solid protection.

One of the coolest features of the 4003W is the walnut body construction and natural oil-style finish aesthetic, which gives the bass a very different visual vibe compared to traditional Fireglo or Jetglo models.

This example also features the push/pull vintage tone circuit, allowing players to engage the classic vintage Ric capacitor for that thinner, brighter vintage-style bridge pickup tone associated with earlier Rickenbackers.

The maple fingerboard adds snap and articulation to the already punchy Ric sound, while the neck-through construction provides excellent sustain and resonance.

This bass delivers the unmistakable Rickenbacker growl, clarity, and attack that has made the 4003 one of the most iconic basses ever made.
