Up for sale is a 2026 Fender Japan MIJ FSR Traditional II 60s Mustang in the stunning Burgundy Mist Metallic finish with a matching headstock, complete with a non-original hard-shell case.

This limited-edition Factory Special Run was produced exclusively for the Japanese market and is one of the most eye-catching Mustang models Fender Japan has released in recent years. Inspired by legendary Japanese guitarist Char, this Ishibashi-exclusive model combines classic 1960s Mustang specifications with the elegant, vintage-inspired look of Burgundy Mist Metallic and a perfectly matched painted headstock.

The color is absolutely gorgeous in person. Depending on the lighting, Burgundy Mist shifts between soft lavender, silver, and metallic rose hues, giving the guitar incredible depth and vintage character. Paired with the matching headstock, parchment pickguard, and chrome hardware, it has an upscale custom-shop appearance that immediately stands out.

Unlike most Fender Japan Mustangs, which originally came with a gig bag, this guitar includes a non-original hard-shell case. Not only is this a significant upgrade for storage and travel, but it also ensures your guitar will arrive much better protected during shipping than it would in a gig bag.
