For Sale: 2025 Fender Japan MIJ Limited Edition Starmaster – Jupiter Blue w/ Original Gig Bag

Up for sale is a 2025 Fender Japan MIJ Limited Edition Starmaster in Jupiter Blue, complete with its original gig bag.

This is a very cool and limited Fender Japan model that blends several classic Fender design cues into something unique. It pairs a semi-hollow offset body with vintage-style Jazzmaster pickups and a ’70s Starcaster headstock, giving it a distinctive look while still feeling familiar in the hands. The Jupiter Blue finish looks especially sharp on these, and the overall design has a great modern-retro feel.

This example is in mint condition and has clearly been very well cared for.

Condition

I would rate this guitar a 10/10. It is exceptionally clean and shows no real wear to note. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

The pickguard has been replaced, and while it is not the original tortoiseshell guard these typically came with, the replacement honestly looks much cooler in person. I do not have the original pickguard. Outside of that change, the guitar is very clean overall. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent shape, and it has been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

The original gig bag is included.

Tone & Feel

This model offers a nice mix of Jazzmaster-style openness and Fender Japan precision. The vintage-style Jazzmaster pickups deliver clear, articulate tones with plenty of character, while the semi-hollow alder body adds some extra resonance and liveliness. The Modern C neck, 9.5" radius, and medium jumbo frets also make it a very easy guitar to get along with.

At 7 lbs 12 oz, it is a comfortable weight as well.
