Up for sale is a 2014 ESP Edwards E-FV-125WB Michael Schenker Signature Flying V in the classic Black and White finish, complete with its original gig bag.

This is a very cool Japanese-market Edwards model built by ESP, based on Michael Schenker’s iconic black-and-white “Tuxedo” Flying V. These Edwards signature models are well known for their excellent build quality, strong specs, and great value, and this one is a particularly nice example.

It features a solid mahogany body, set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a Seymour Duncan SH-5 / SH-1n pickup set, giving it a great mix of power, clarity, and classic hard rock tone.

Condition

This guitar is in excellent condition and I would rate it a solid 9/10. It shows only light scratches, but nothing major. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent shape, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no issues. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

The original gig bag is included.

Tone & Feel

This model delivers the kind of focused, powerful tone you would expect from a good Schenker-style V. The SH-5 Custom in the bridge has plenty of bite and punch, while the SH-1n ’59 in the neck adds warmth and clarity. Combined with the lightweight mahogany body and set-neck construction, it makes for a very lively, great-playing instrument with a lot of sustain.

At just 7 lbs 0 oz, it is also especially comfortable for a Flying V.
