Up for sale is a beautiful 1994 Fender Japan MIJ ST-38 SPK Stratocaster in Shell Pink, complete with a non-original tweed hard-shell case.

Built during Fender Japan's highly regarded Fujigen-era production, this Japanese-market Strat features a Shell Pink (SPK) finish, one-piece maple neck and fingerboard, 9.5" radius, three Fender Japan single-coils, and vintage-style synchronized tremolo.

At 7 lbs 4 oz, it's comfortable, nicely balanced, and a great example of the quality that has made older Fender Japan guitars increasingly desirable.

This guitar is in excellent condition for its age, showing only:

Shell Pink MIJ Stratocaster

The Shell Pink SPK finish is the standout feature here, especially paired with the maple neck and fingerboard. It's a great vintage-inspired combination and considerably less common than many of the standard Fender Japan finishes from the period.

The one-piece maple neck has a comfortable slim C profile, measuring .82" at the 1st fret and .94" at the 12th, with a measured 1.67" nut width.

The 9.5" radius provides a slightly flatter playing surface than a traditional 7.25" vintage Fender radius, making bends and lead work comfortable while retaining a classic Strat feel.

Classic Strat Tone & Feel

The three Fender Japan single-coils and traditional 5-way switching provide the familiar range of Strat sounds—from warm neck tones and glassy in-between positions to a bright, cutting bridge pickup.
