For sale is a Vintage Gibson Ripper Bass Guitar with non original case. This instrument is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There are scratches, dings, a little wear on the back, and finish checking throughout. Overall, I would give it a solid 8 out of 10 condition. With exception to the replaced pots, everything on the bass is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets have been leveled, but are in excellent condition with no wear. The non original case works great.
This guitar is marked a factory "SECOND". In the 70's and 80's Gibson would put this on guitars that had factory blemishes in the finish. By now most vintage guitars have blemishes, so there is no difference.
