For Sale: 2025 Fender Japan Heritage ’60s Telecaster Custom – 3-Tone Sunburst Nitro | Near Mint | JD Serial | Tweed HSC
Up for sale is a 2025 Fender Japan Heritage ’60s Telecaster Custom in 3-Tone Sunburst, complete with a non-original tweed hard-shell case.
This is a particularly nice example from Fender Japan’s top-tier Heritage Series, which was developed using U.S. vintage profiling data in collaboration with Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Mark Kendrick. These Heritage models are among the highest-end regular production guitars Fender Japan has offered, with excellent fit and finish, very accurate vintage-inspired construction, and features that make them especially appealing to players and collectors alike.
This guitar was sourced directly from Tokyo and is a great example of why the Heritage line has developed such a strong following. With its double-bound alder body, full gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, rosewood fingerboard, and Custom Heritage ’60s black-bobbin single-coil pickups, it delivers the look, feel, and tone of a very well-executed early-’60s style Telecaster Custom.
Condition
This guitar is in near mint condition and has clearly been very well cared for. I would rate it a 9.5/10. There are only the lightest surface scratches visible. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.
It is 100% original with no cracks, repairs, or modifications. The neck is straight, the frets show no wear, and it has been professionally set up with low action and excellent intonation. It plays cleanly up and down the neck and is ready to go.
