Up for sale is a 2022 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom Axcess Floyd Rose in Olive Drab, complete with its original Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case and Certificate of Authenticity.

The Les Paul Custom Axcess takes the unmistakable look, construction, and upscale appointments of a Les Paul Custom and transforms them into a more modern, performance-oriented instrument. With its contoured Axcess neck heel, Floyd Rose locking tremolo, ebony fingerboard, dual Gibson humbuckers, and weight-relieved construction, this model offers substantially greater versatility and upper-fret access while retaining the unmistakable character of a Gibson Les Paul.

This guitar has been played and shows cosmetic wear consistent with use, including:

The slightly buckled pickup rings are cosmetic only and do not affect the pickups or functionality of the guitar.

Les Paul Custom Axcess

The Les Paul Axcess was designed for players who love the sound and feel of a Les Paul but want features normally associated with more modern performance-oriented guitars.

One of the most significant changes is Gibson's Axcess neck joint.

Rather than the large traditional Les Paul heel, the neck-to-body transition is dramatically contoured to provide much easier access to the upper frets.

The difference is immediately noticeable when playing high on the neck. Lead work above the 15th fret feels considerably less restricted while the guitar retains the familiar 24.75" Gibson scale length and overall Les Paul feel.

Comfortable Neck Profile

This guitar has a comfortable medium-feeling neck that starts relatively streamlined in the lower positions and gradually becomes fuller toward the upper register.

Our measurements are:

• Nut Width: 1.68"
• 1st Fret Depth: .83"
• 12th Fret Depth: .97"

At .83" at the 1st fret, the neck has enough substance to feel solid without being overly large.

It gradually fills out to .97" at the 12th fret, creating a natural taper as you move toward the upper register.

Combined with the contoured Axcess heel and ebony fingerboard, it makes for an exceptionally comfortable Les Paul to play across the entire neck.

Ebony Fingerboard

The ebony fingerboard is an essential part of the classic Les Paul Custom formula.

It provides a smooth, solid playing surface with a quick response and crisp attack that complements the naturally thick voice of the mahogany and maple construction.

Visually, the dark ebony board paired with the traditional Les Paul Custom block inlays gives the guitar the upscale appearance expected from Gibson's flagship solid-body design.

Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo
