Up for sale is a 2007 Gibson Guitar of the Week #30 SG-3 in Ebony, complete with its original Gibson hard-shell case.

This is a very rare limited-run SG produced as part of Gibson’s highly collectible “Guitar of the Week” series, with only 400 examples made worldwide. The SG-3 stands out from a standard SG thanks to its unique pickup configuration, featuring three Bill Lawrence-designed blade-style single-coils paired with a 6-way rotary selector system for an unusually wide range of tones.

With its lightweight mahogany body, rounded ’50s neck profile, and versatile electronics, this is a very cool and increasingly hard-to-find Gibson that offers something genuinely different from a traditional SG.

Condition

This guitar shows honest cosmetic wear consistent with use, including:

• Light scratches throughout
• Dings from normal play
• Wear and imprint marks on the pickguard

The guitar is all original with the exception of the replaced knobs.
