Up for sale is a 2006 Rickenbacker 4003 in the exceptionally rare Blueburst finish, complete with its original Rickenbacker hard-shell case.

Blueburst is one of the most desirable and hardest-to-find custom colors Rickenbacker has ever produced. Available for only a short period, it has become one of the most collectible finishes among modern Rickenbacker enthusiasts. The vibrant Blueburst gloss finish gives this bass incredible visual depth while preserving the unmistakable styling, tone, and feel that have made the 4003 one of the most iconic basses ever built.

This is a 100% original example that has clearly been well cared for over the years.

Please note: The original hard-shell case is included; however, the original paperwork is not included.

• Minor clear coat bubbling around the lower side of the bridge

The finish bubbling is cosmetic only and is a fairly common occurrence on Rickenbacker basses of this era. It does not affect playability or structural integrity.

The bass is all original with no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues.

The neck is straight, the original frets are in excellent condition with minimal wear, and the bass has been professionally set up by our in-house luthier. It plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots.

The original Rickenbacker hard-shell case is included. The case is in very good condition and one latch has been professionally replaced.
