Up for sale is a 2006 Gibson Custom Shop SG Custom 3-Pickup in the absolutely stunning Wine Red Sparkle finish, complete with its original Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case.

This is an exceptionally rare Custom Shop SG that combines the timeless elegance of the SG Custom with one of the most eye-catching finishes Gibson has ever produced. The Wine Red Sparkle nitrocellulose finish has incredible depth and shimmer, appearing deep burgundy in lower light while exploding with brilliant metallic sparkle under direct lighting or on stage. Combined with the gold hardware, ebony fingerboard, and three-pickup layout, it is one of the most visually striking SG Customs you'll ever come across.

Built with historic long neck tenon construction, a solid mahogany body with deep beveling, and three Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers, this guitar delivers premium Custom Shop craftsmanship, outstanding sustain, and incredible versatility.

Please note: The original Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case is included; however, the Certificate of Authenticity is unfortunately no longer with the guitar.

Electronics & Features

The three Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers give this SG Custom an incredibly wide tonal palette. The neck pickup produces warm, articulate cleans, while the bridge delivers classic PAF bite with excellent clarity and sustain. The middle pickup adds another layer of versatility, allowing for unique blended tones that simply aren't available on a standard two-pickup SG.

Historic long neck tenon construction improves resonance and sustain, while the lightweight mahogany body gives the guitar the lively response and effortless feel SGs are famous for.

Of course, the true showstopper is the Wine Red Sparkle finish. It has tremendous depth and dimension, shifting from a rich wine color to brilliant metallic sparkle depending on the lighting. It's one of those finishes that photographs beautifully but looks even more impressive in person.
