For Sale: 2002 Gibson 1964 J-160E – Vintage Sunburst w/ OHSC

Up for sale is a 2002 Gibson 1964 J-160E in Vintage Sunburst, complete with its original hard-shell case.

This is a very cool Gibson reissue of the 1964 J-160E, built to capture the look, feel, and distinctive voice of one of Gibson’s most iconic acoustic-electric models. With its slope-shouldered dreadnought body, ladder-braced construction, and fingerboard-mounted pickup, the 1964 J-160E has a character all its own. This one has clearly been played and enjoyed over the years, giving it a real broken-in vintage feel, and by all accounts it sounds and plays amazing.

Condition

This guitar is in good condition and I would rate it a solid 7.5/10. It shows scratches and dings throughout, some wear around the soundhole, and a crack on the bottom of the guitar coming from the strap button. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

The guitar has been played, but it retains a lot of character and charm. The neck is straight, and it has a very broken-in feel that many players love. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

The original hard-shell case is included. It does show some wear, but it works great.
