For sale is a used  2001 Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1959 Reissue Les Paul R9 Quilt Top with original case. This particular year has been regarded as the best year for Gibson Reissue guitars. After getting and playing the guitar, it's easy to see why, as this guitar is not like any of the R9s we typically get in. This guitar has been played, but is in very good condition, and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches, dings through-out, and some finish checking though-out the guitar. Overall, I would give it a solid 8.5 out of 10 condition. Aside from 1 replaced pot, everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or major issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in good condition with no wear. The original case is in good shape, and works great. I do not have a COA or any paperwork for this guitar.
