For sale is a super rare 1998 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul '56 Reissue All Gold Goldtop with the original case. What makes this guitar rare aside from it being made in 1998 is the fact that the entire guitar is gold and not just the top. This guitar is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There are some scratches and dings throughout. Overall, I would rate the condition, a solid 8.5 out of 10. Everything on the guitar is original. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition no wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The original case works great. Gibson did not issue a certificate of authenticity in '98 so that is why this guitar does not have one. It does come with the original hangtag though with the model and serial number on it from Gibson.
