Up for sale is a 1997 Gibson Les Paul Custom Plus in the stunning Honeyburst finish, complete with its original Gibson hard-shell case.

Built during Gibson's legendary "Good Wood Era," this Les Paul Custom Plus showcases everything that has made these late-'90s instruments so desirable among players and collectors. Featuring a beautifully figured carved maple top over a mahogany body, an ebony fingerboard, gold hardware, and the original 490R/498T humbuckers, this guitar delivers the premium looks, craftsmanship, and unmistakable Les Paul tone that define the model.

The flame maple top is the true centerpiece here. Finished in rich Honeyburst, it displays exceptional figure with beautiful depth and movement that changes depending on the lighting. Combined with the naturally aged gold hardware and classic Custom appointments, this is a striking example of one of Gibson's most iconic guitars.

Very Good – 8.5/10

• Light surface scratches throughout
• A few small dings from normal use
• Finish checking on the back of the neck and throughout portions of the guitar
• Small areas of clear coat chipping on the front of the headstock around the A and D tuning machines
• Light tarnishing to the original gold hardware

The finish checking and clear coat chipping are cosmetic only. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues.

The guitar is 100% original, including the Gibson 490R and 498T pickups.

The neck is straight, the original frets are in excellent condition with very little wear, and the guitar has been professionally inspected and set up by our in-house luthier. It plays effortlessly up and down the neck with low action, excellent intonation, and no buzzing or dead spots.

The original Gibson hard-shell case is included. It shows typical exterior wear but remains fully functional.
