For sale is a 1997 Fender American Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Stratocaster with original case. This instrument is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches, and couple tiny dings. Overall, I would give it a solid 9 out of 10 condition. With exception to the upgraded Lindy fralin Woodstock '69 pickups and Del Ritmo Oiled Paper Capacitor, everything on the guitar is original. Like the original mid to late 60's strat pickups, the Woodstock 69 pickups are wound with the dark purple colored enameled wire, but has the distinction of being left-handed, the magnet stagger is reversed, like having left handed pickups in your right-handed guitar (the only way to get Jimi's sound in a right-hand guitar). These have beveled magnets and cloth wire leads. The middle Pickup is reverse wound so these are hum cancelling in the 2 and 4 positions, like all Fralin Strat sets! These also feature the mid to late 60's colored gray bobbins. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues with the guitar. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The original case works great.
