This model is a faithful vintage reissue of the famed Rose Morris export version of the Rickenbacker Model 325, famously used by John Lennon of The Beatles. Known for its compact size and unmistakable tone, the Model 1996 was originally described as “a slim-line instrument with all of the features of model 1998 (340) but of smaller body dimensions.” Key features include the 3/4-scale neck, vintage-style Toaster Top pickups, Accent vibrato, and the vintage-correct F-hole, just like the originals from the 1960s.
