For sale is a used 1990 Fender Custom Shop 35th Anniverary Stratocaster with non original case. Made for from a limited run of only 500, this guitar is number 430. This guitar has been played, but is in good condition and in perfect working order. There are some scratches and dings throughout the guitar. Overall I would give the guitar a 8 out of 10 condition. At one point the rosewood truss rod plus came loos and has since been professionally glued back in. The neck is straight with no issues. I do not have the COA for this guitar. This was one of the first limited run's the custom shop offered. These pieces were built by the founding fathers of the custom shop, an elite group of only TWO senior masterbuilders John Page and Michael Stevens. Both builders, who would later go on and start their own companies are highly revered as being the most gifted luthiers of our time. These two builders started the Fender Custom Shop and team built instruments, such as this one, and are the highest quality examples on the market if you can find them. This 35th Anniversary Stratocaster features all of the best features of the time. These include locking tuners, lace sensor pickups, super figured maple neck, and amazing playability. A non original tremolo bar is included.
