Up for sale is a 1989 Orville FV-74 ’74 Reissue Flying V in aged white, made in Japan and modeled after the classic mid-'70s Flying V design. This is a lightweight, well-balanced V with great vintage vibe and killer tone — a fantastic alternative to the Gibson V, made at a time when Orville was producing top-tier instruments under Gibson’s supervision for the Japanese market.

Includes a gig bag and is ready to play!

Condition

This guitar is in very good condition (7.5/10) with honest play wear throughout. The white finish has aged beautifully into a creamy vintage hue.

  • Scratches and dings throughout from regular use

  • Finish checking around the neck joint (purely cosmetic, adds to vintage character)

  • No cracks, breaks, or structural issues

  • Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should

  • Frets are in excellent shape with no buzzing or dead spots

  • Electronics are original aside from the upgraded neck pickup
