For sale is a 1986 Gibson Les Paul Custom Alpine White with the original case. This guitar has been played and has some wear but is in perfect working order. There are some scratches, dings throughout, lots of finish checking, wear to the back, tarnish to the gold hard-wear, missing pick-guard, and the back of the neck looks like it was over-sprayed at the top. I took a black light to it and you can definitely see the over spray with it, but I can not find evidence of a repaired crack. The serial number is in tact still so my assumption is it had a pretty small crack that was repaired at one time and was over-sprayed. Without a blacklight the overspray is very hard to notice. Overall, I would rate the condition, a solid 7.5 out of 10. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The non-original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The nut has been replaced as well. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The original case has some wear but works great.
