For sale is a super rare 1986 Gibson Custom Shop Edition Les Paul Aldo Nova in Polaris White with the original case. It looks like a Les Paul but wait, It has an explorer head-stock!! Just like the Moderne, Flying V, and Explorer this guitar was way ahead of its time and frankly did not do well when it originally came out. It's been said that less than 25 of these guitars where made and that Rick Nielsen owns most of them. You don't ever see these come up for sale and a lot of people don't even know they exist. This guitar is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches, a few small dings, crack in the plastic pick-up ring for the neck pickup (not noticeable and only in plastic), an extra screw hole under the pickguard, a little finish checking, and some tarnish to the gold hardware. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 9 out of 10. Everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The original case has a broken latch but works great.
