For sale is a 1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard Heritage 80 Elite in a beautiful Quilt Top with a non-original Gibson case. Here's a rare bird you don't see every day. Sure, Heritage 80 guitars are not too rare, but not with tops like this. This instrument is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There are some scratches, dings, finish checking on the binding/guitar, and some wear on the back. Overall, I would give it a solid 8.5 out of 10 condition. With exception to the pots, caps, frets, and pick-guard, everything on the guitar is original. The pick up covers have been removed from the guitar and we do not have the originals. We debated putting new covers on the guitar, but left it as the cream/zebra pickups look cool. If you would like pickup covers added just let us know and we can do that. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The non-original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The non-original case works great. The case is a Gibson Historic Lifton style case and actually looks a lot like the original case this guitar would have some with.
