For sale is a 1973 Gibson ES-335 TD Walnut Electric Guitar with a non-original case. This guitar has been played, has a lot of wear, but does play great. There are some scratches, dings, wear on the back, lots of finish checking, small crack on the top, a solid head-stock repair, some splitting by the tuning keys on the back of the headstock, and some separation at the neck joint. The headstock repair was not done by us but looks very well done and rock solid. The separation at the neck joint is not bad but it is there and at some point, the guitar could use a neck reset. Currently, the action is still be able to be set low with only slight buzzing. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 7 out of 10. With exception to the tuners, everything on the guitar is original. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets have a lot of wear and will need a re-fret at some point but the neck does play with only minimal buzzing. The non-original case has some wear and is a little big but works great.
