For sale is a 1968 Gibson Les Paul Custom with original case. This guitar is in good condition and in perfect working order. There is wear as you would expect from a 49 year old guitar. Has scratches, dings, lots of finish checking, and some wear on the back. Overall, I would give it a solid 7.5 out of 10 condition. We date this guitar to an early 68 as the serial number is 521825, there is no MADE IN USA, no valute, has the long neck tenon, doted "i", open "b", and open "o". The knobs, nut, frets, caps, pickups, pickup rings, tuners, toggle switch ring, toggle switch, pick-guard, bridge, and possibly two of the pots have been replaced. Two of the pots look to be original 1968 dated Centralab pots, while the other two look period correct but we're not positive that they are original. Two coil tap switches have been added. This would have originally come with an ABR-1 bridge. To accommodate the harmonica bridge the original posts where filled, refinished, and new ones where put in. There are no cracks, or major issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The non original frets are in very good condition with minor wear. The original case works great, but has some wear.
