For sale is a 1961 Gibson ES-335 Dot in Cherry with the original case. This guitar is in very good condition and in perfect working order. This was sent back to Gibson to have it refinished, Semi-hollow Maple body with the center-block, Slim C shaped Mahogany neck with a 12′′ radius Rosewood fingerboard, Pro re-fret with medium jumbo fret wire, 24.75′′ scale length, 1 11/16th” nut width, Factory PAF pickups, wiring, pick-guard, tailpiece, and knobs. The refinish on this guitar is perfect. The serial number on the back of the headstock is still visible. There are filled in holes from the original tuners. The guitar currently has Grovers tuners on it. The nut, frets, and bridge have also been replaced. Everything else on the guitar is original including the original black bobbin PAF's. The neck thickness is .78′′ at the first and .86′′ at the 12th fret. There are some scratches, dings, and some finish checking. Overall, I would rate the condition, a solid 8.5 out of 10. There are no cracks or issues with this guitar. The original electronics work great. Everything on the guitar is original. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The original case has a bit of wear, but works great.
