Each piece of gear that we receive, whether it is a guitar, bass or pedal, goes through a series of quality checkpoints before it is listed for sale. We take pride in making sure that we have touched, played and looked over each item that comes in.
As soon as a guitar/bass comes into the shop, it is inspected and played by Jerry before it moves into inventory.
Taylor then takes the guitar/bass, clips the strings, disassembles it, inspects the components for authenticity, photographs the inside, and finally details the guitar/bass.
The guitar/bass then goes to Moses, our onsite Luthier, who does a third inspection, sets up and intonates the guitar/bass, then restrings the guitar/bass with new strings. At this time he will also do any repair work or adjustment that is needed.
Every inch of the guitar/bass/pedal is then photographed carefully by Scott. These photographs include the cases, and any other items included in the listing.
The guitar/bass is then moved to a climate and humidity controlled room until it is sold.
Upon completion of all of these steps the guitar/bass/pedal is ready to be posted for sale.
When the guitar/bass/pedal has sold it is inspected and tested once again to ensure quality before it is shipped out. Strings on the guitar/bass are loosed before shipping. Each item is carefully packed and shipped in a brand new box and sent on their way to their new home.
