For sale is a 2004 Fender Custom Shop '61 Reissue Relic Stratocaster in a beautiful Sunburst with the original hardshell case. Unfortunately, we do not have the coa for this guitar but I have sent pictures to Fender to verify it's authenticity.
Built to capture the essence of early '60s Stratocasters, the Fender Custom Shop 1961 Relic Stratocaster offers much more than road-worn looks. The lightweight alder body with comfortably deep contours feels great to play, while the quartersawn maple neck with oval "C" profile is comfortable for rhythm and lead alike. Three Texas Special single-coil pickups deliver barking mids, chiming highs, and tight lows. With a well-played feel and iconic tone, the Fender Custom Shop 1961 Relic Stratocaster electric guitar deserves a place in any serious guitar collection.
This guitar is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. It's a relic so it's hard to tell but I suspect this guitar does have some play-wear. There are some scratches, dings, finish checking throughout, and some wear on the back. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 9 out of 10. Everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in excellent condition with very minor wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The original case works great with no issues.
