For sale is a 1978 Gibson Ripper Ebony Black with original case. This guitar is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches and minor dings throughout. This guitar is marked a factory "SECOND". In the 70's and 80's Gibson would put this on guitars that had factory blemishes in the finish. By now most vintage guitars have blemishes, so there is no difference. There are no issues with this bass. Overall, I would give it a solid 9 out of 10 condition. Everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or major issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The original case works great.
