Up for sale is a 2025 Gibson Custom Shop Kirk Hammett Signature Raven in Ebony, complete with its original hard-shell case, certificate of authenticity, and all original case candy.

This is an incredibly rare and visually striking limited-edition Gibson acoustic-electric, with only 100 produced worldwide. Inspired by the Gibson Hummingbird platform, the Kirk Hammett Raven blends classic Gibson acoustic craftsmanship with dark, gothic-inspired aesthetics drawn from Edgar Allan Poe imagery and Kirk’s personal style.

Features include custom raven-themed appointments throughout, including a mother-of-pearl raven skull headstock inlay, dual Raven motif pickguards, bound ebony fingerboard with star inlays, and a hand-signed interior label by Kirk Hammett himself.

This is an exceptionally cool and collectible Custom Shop piece that rarely comes up for sale.

Condition

This guitar is in excellent condition and I would rate it a solid 9/10.

It shows only light scratches and a few small dings from careful use. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

The bridge saddle has been upgraded to a bone saddle, which I personally feel sounds noticeably better than the original TUSQ saddle. The original saddle is included in the case.

There are no cracks, breaks, or structural issues. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent shape, and the guitar plays beautifully up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

The original Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case, COA, and all original case candy are included.

The ebony finish, raven skull inlay, dual custom pickguards, and star inlays give the guitar a dramatic and unmistakable appearance without sacrificing the classic Gibson acoustic feel underneath.

The L.R. Baggs Element VTC system also makes this an excellent stage or recording instrument, delivering a natural amplified tone with simple, effective onboard controls.

The upgraded bone saddle adds a bit more warmth, clarity, and resonance compared to the factory TUSQ saddle, while the original saddle remains safely stored in the case for collectors who prefer total originality.

Tone & Feel

This guitar has the warm, balanced, and full-bodied response you’d expect from a high-end Gibson square-shoulder acoustic, with strong mids, crisp highs, and excellent projection.

The mahogany body and Sitka spruce top pair beautifully together, giving the guitar a rich and articulate voice that works equally well for strumming, fingerpicking, and vocal accompaniment.

At only 5 lbs 2 oz, it is also extremely lightweight and resonant in hand.

The rounded neck profile feels comfortable and substantial without being oversized, and the ebony fingerboard gives the playing feel a very refined and smooth character.
