For Sale: 2025 Fender MIJ Japan Late ’60s Jazzmaster – Ocean Turquoise w/ Original Gig Bag
Up for sale is a 2025 Fender MIJ Japan Late ’60s Jazzmaster in Ocean Turquoise, complete with its original gig bag.
This is a very cool Japan-exclusive Fender with all the visual appeal that makes late-’60s Jazzmasters so desirable. Finished in Ocean Turquoise with a matching headstock and block inlays, this model has a classic custom-color look that really stands out. Fender Japan did a great job capturing the late-’60s aesthetic here, while still giving the guitar the clean fit, finish, and consistency these MIJ instruments are known for.
Condition
This guitar is in excellent condition and I would rate it a solid 9.5/10. It shows only light scratches from very light use. The guitar still has the protective plastic on the pickguard. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.
There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.
The original gig bag is included.

Electronics & Features
One of the biggest draws of this model is the late-’60s visual package. The Ocean Turquoise finish, matching headstock, and block inlays give it a much more distinctive look than a standard Jazzmaster, and it really captures the vibe of Fender’s more desirable custom-color offset guitars from that era.
Like many Fender Japan models, it also strikes a nice balance between vintage style and modern usability. The 9.5" radius makes it more player-friendly than a strict vintage spec instrument, while the overall design still feels true to the classic Jazzmaster formula.
Tone & Feel
This guitar has the airy, wide, and articulate response that makes a good Jazzmaster so appealing. It has excellent clarity, warmth, and note separation, making it a great fit for clean playing, ambient tones, indie rock, surf, pop, and more expressive lead work.
The U-shaped neck feels comfortable and substantial without being bulky, and at 7 lbs 10 oz, the guitar has a nicely balanced feel in hand. The 9.5" radius also makes it especially easy to play.
