Up for sale is a 2025 Fender Ishibashi FSR Japan MIJ Traditional 50s Stratocaster in Honey Burst, complete with a non-original tweed hard-shell case.

This is a very cool Made in Japan special run model with a premium look and a nice mix of vintage-inspired style and modern playability. These typically come with only a gig bag, so the included tweed hard-shell case is a nice upgrade.

This Ishibashi FSR stands out with its quilted maple top over an ash body, gold hardware, and 3-ply aged white pearloid pickguard. It also features a set of USA-made Fender 57/62 Strat pickups, which is a great touch and a big part of what makes these special.

Condition

This guitar is in excellent condition and I would rate it a solid 9/10. It shows only light scratches and a few small dings, but nothing major. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent shape, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no issues. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

This guitar has a nice balance of vintage Strat character and more player-friendly modern specs. The USA-made 57/62 pickups give it the clear, bright, classic Strat tone players are after, while the 9.5" radius and U-shaped neck make it feel comfortable and easy to play. The ash and quilted maple construction also gives it a little extra visual appeal compared to a standard Traditional 50s model.
