Up for sale is a 2012 Fender Made in Japan TN72G-FT/MH Thinline Super Deluxe Telecaster in Olympic White, complete with a non-original hard-shell case.

This is a very cool and relatively rare Fender Japan model that blends classic Telecaster Thinline design with upscale “Super Deluxe” features. The semi-hollow body, double binding, gold hardware, matching headstock, and block inlays give it a much more premium look, while the Fidelitron humbuckers add a unique tonal character compared to a traditional Tele. Fender Japan did a great job with this model, and it stands out from typical Telecaster offerings.

Condition

This guitar is in excellent condition (9/10).

It shows light surface scratches, a few small dings, some tarnish to the gold hardware, and slight cracking on the top layer of the pickguard near the toggle switch. The cracking is cosmetic only and does not go all the way through—the pickguard functions perfectly.

Everything on the guitar is 100% original. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

A non-original hard-shell case is included.
