Up for sale is a 2012 Fender MIJ Japan Jazz Bass ’62 Reissue JB62-WAL in Walnut, complete with a gig bag.

This is a very cool and increasingly hard-to-find Fender Japan domestic model that was never officially intended for export. Finished in gloss Walnut with black chrome hardware, it has a distinctive look that really separates it from more typical vintage-style Jazz Basses. Fender Japan is well known for excellent fit and finish, and this one is a great example of that, with classic Jazz Bass tone and a unique visual package.

Condition

This bass is in very good condition and I would rate it a solid 8.5/10. It shows light surface scratches, dings, and some tarnish to the black chrome hardware from normal use. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

This bass is 100% original. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or modifications. The neck finish is clean and smooth, the frets show no wear, and the bass plays cleanly up and down the neck with low action and perfect intonation. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

A gig bag is included.
