Up for sale is a 2007 Gibson Custom Shop '57 Les Paul Custom Reissue 3-Pickup Black Beauty, complete with its original Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case and Certificate of Authenticity.

The 1957 Les Paul Custom—better known as the Black Beauty—is one of the most iconic electric guitars ever produced, and this Custom Shop Historic Reissue faithfully captures everything that made the original legendary. Built with a one-piece solid mahogany body (no maple cap), long neck tenon construction, ebony fingerboard, three Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers, and elegant gold hardware, this guitar delivers the rich tone, incredible sustain, and timeless looks that have made the Black Beauty one of Gibson's most desirable models.

Unlike a standard Les Paul Custom, the '57 Reissue features an all-mahogany construction, giving it a warmer, thicker voice with exceptional midrange and sustain.

• Cosmetic surface cracking in the black headstock veneer near the high E tuner

The headstock veneer cracking is strictly cosmetic and affects only the thin decorative holly veneer on the face of the headstock. It does not extend into the wood beneath and is not a headstock crack or repair.

The guitar is all original with no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues.

The neck is straight, the original frets are in excellent condition with minimal wear, and the guitar has been professionally set up by our in-house luthier. It plays cleanly up and down the neck with low action, excellent intonation, and no buzzing or dead spots.
