For Sale: 1988 Yamaha SG-1000 – Rare White Finish | Original Pickups w/ Coil-Taps | Yamaha Gig Bag

Up for sale is a 1988 Yamaha SG-1000 in an extremely rare White finish, paired with a Yamaha gig bag. These SG-1000 models are known for their exceptional build quality, sustain, and versatility—and this one is no exception.

This example is in very good condition (8/10) with honest playwear throughout, including light scratches and dings. The most notable cosmetic wear is a 2-inch scratch on the top near the knobs, confirmed to be superficial (just a scratch—not a crack). Structurally, the guitar is solid and performs flawlessly.

Condition

  • Very good overall with cosmetic wear (see photos)

  • One noticeable 2" scratch—cosmetic only

  • No cracks, breaks, or structural issues

  • Recently inspected and professionally set up

  • Straight neck with excellent action

  • Original frets show no wear

  • Everything is original except the replaced nut
