For Sale: 1986 Fender MIJ Japan Mustang ’69 Reissue MG69 – Vintage White w/ HSC

Up for sale is a 1986 Fender MIJ Japan Mustang ’69 Reissue MG69 in Vintage White, complete with a non-original hard-shell case.

This is a very cool late-’80s Fender Japan Mustang built at the highly respected Fujigen factory. These early MIJ reissues are well known for their strong craftsmanship, vintage-inspired feel, and consistently high quality, and this one is a great example of that era. The Vintage White finish has naturally aged over time, giving the guitar a nicely aged look that really suits the model and makes it feel even more like a real late-’60s Mustang.

Condition

This guitar is in very good condition and I would rate it a solid 7.5/10. It shows scratches and dings throughout from normal use, natural aging to the finish, and some wear on the back. Please review all photos carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.

With exception to the upgraded tuners, the guitar appears to be 100% original with the exception of the tremolo bar. There are no cracks, breaks, or structural issues. The neck is straight and stable, the frets are in excellent condition with no wear, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with low action and no buzzing or dead spots. It has also been recently professionally set up and is ready to go.

The non-original hard-shell case is included.
